Water Vapour Transmission Rate

Water vapor transmission measurement, sample analysis, calcium tests, precise research device, encapsulation quality.

Project overview

This project is an advanced tool designed to measure the water vapor permeability of various barrier materials. Comprising both hardware and software components, the system enables precise measurements using the calcium test, which is essential for evaluating the quality of protective layers. The device’s construction from scratch and its integration with modern software technologies make this project truly innovative. It was developed on behalf of the Lodz University of Technology in Poland.

The software, designed with cutting-edge frameworks for its time, provides users with an intuitive interface for managing samples and test schedules. It includes functionalities that allow for easy tracking and analysis of measurement results — a valuable feature in the food, medical, and textile industries. The user interface is simple yet functional, allowing for seamless integration and control of the entire testing process.

The physical device, an integral part of the system, was designed with usability and precision in mind. Built using modern design tools and crafted from high-quality materials, it ensures not only measurement accuracy but also long-term durability. Thanks to this project, it is now possible to obtain data of crucial importance across various industrial sectors.
