HyperBIM: 3D BIM publishing platform
SaaS platform for building product manufacturers: model BIM objects once and one-click export to IFC, Revit, ArchiCAD, Allplan and Tekla.
Project overview
HyperBIM is a SaaS platform for creating, configuring and publishing 3D BIM objects online. The homepage communicates four product pillars: Freedom (modelling static and parametric objects without tooling limits), Independence (one source model generates multiple BIM formats automatically), Ownership ("Your 3D Model is always Yours", meaning full control over published content) and Real Interaction (interactive 3D preview with multiple levels of detail). The target audience: building product and HVAC manufacturers, architects and designers, and BIM software vendors looking for a ready-made integration with manufacturer catalogues.
The workflow is split across two layers. Objects are modelled in a desktop authoring tool downloaded from the platform and then pushed to HyperBIM. In the web app, users manage the catalogue, define IFC property presets (Pset_ZoneCommon, Pset_WindowCommon and similar) and configure LOD levels. Publishing runs through two channels: a public catalogue on hyperbim.com with a WebGL viewer, and a configurator embedded as an iFrame on the manufacturer's own site. End clients adjust the parameters and download the file in the format they need (IFC, Revit, ArchiCAD, Allplan, Tekla) directly from the brand's website.
My role is mainly supporting and developing this platform since 2023.
